You can have more than one domain name!
Use different domains that link to specific landing pages to track a variety of marketing campaigns.
- Business Name
- Personal Name
- Keyword Specific
- Location Based
- Acronym and complete spelling
- Easy to remember
- Make it meaningful
- Short and Simple
- Catchy but not too creative
- Avoid misspellings and hyphens
- Use different extensions if .com is not available like .net .biz or an industry extension like .photography
You may not be able to get the exact domain you want.
When I wanted to register my domain in 2000, arba.com was not available. I was surprised that I also couldn't register arba.net because it belongs to American Rabbit Breeders Association. I just think that's funny!
